am I exposing an awful, man-made beast as a beautiful being? or... am I just lonely?

there's something about a picture like this to me, it's so pitiful-looking and sad.. I want to go comfort this person, but she doesn't exist. it messes with me more than I would have thought because I want to see her so badly.
